JITSA IT Business Registry Initiative - Database of Locally Registered ICT Companies

The Jamaica Information Technology & Services Alliance (JITSA) is a year-old umbrella group representing local IT Service Providers, Software Developers and IT Consultancy and Advisory Services organisations and whose mission is captured in our tagline, “Making IT Work”.

Call to action

In one of our pivotal role as a champion for growth of the IT industry, JITSA has embarked on a major developmental initiative, our IT Business Registry Project, aimed at building and maintaining a current listing and database of key pieces of information related to locally registered IT companies. To this end, we invite your involvement and support of this important initiative.
The objectives of this project are as follows:

  1. To be the Go-To-Organisation for potential investors, business partners and international funding agencies (IFAs)
  2. To represent and be the voice of the local IT sector, which includes Telecommunications Providers, Business Process Outsourcing (BPOs) and other IT organisations
  3. To build data and drive intelligence on the local IT sector, beginning initially with company related information to be updated annually
  4. To establish this database facility online and searchable by registered companies, members, key stakeholders and other leverage organisations such as PSOJ, JCC, JTB, JAMPRO etc.

This project will commence within the next week and we will be working assiduously to have this completed within 6 to 8 weeks. To help us meet this goal, your participation and timely submission of company information are critical.

How to Participate

Our IT Business Registry Submission Form is now available on-line at our website http://www.jitsa.org. Please take a few minutes to visit our site and complete the required information at your earliest convenience. A member of the JITSA Secretariat will be contacting you shortly to follow up receipt of this communication and address any questions and/or concerns, which you may have. We will provide you with periodic notifications and updates as the project progresses.

We look forward to collaborating with you towards the successful development of our Business Register of IT companies; which we have no doubt will yield and deliver positive results and benefits to your organisation and the local industry.
